Volunteers play a significant role in providing care and support services to St. Francis Medical Center. Our volunteers live the Daughters of Charity's Mission of serving the underprivileged, sick and the poor. They generously give their time, service and compassion to our patients and families.
Our Volunteer Services Department provides volunteers with experience and exposure to health careers.
Volunteering at St. Francis Medical Center is a positive experience for young people and adults age 14 years and older who desire to be of service to others. Our volunteers include professionals, homemakers, students, retirees and senior citizens — individuals with varied interests who share a common commitment to the goals and philosophy of St. Vincent de Paul, founder of the Daughters of Charity. Through their combined efforts, they volunteer thousands of hours to St. Francis Medical Center each year.
